My books are my refuge.
Fourteen years ago today, the magic began.
30th June, 1997: The first ever edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was released.
I still remembered that day at the bookstore, i laid my eyes on the book , and skeptically thought: “how can this book about a wizard boy sitting on the best seller rack?”. My curiosity got me and I ended up taking one home with me. In the end, it turned out to be one of my best reads of all time.
But even more, I still remembered that day when I finally had in my hand the newly-released final book of the series, inhaling deeply the sweet scent of the hard cover pages. Bittersweet feeling was in my heart: so glad that I would be able to know what happened to the Boy with Scarred Forehead, but also so sad that beyond it, it would be no more.
Potter more, Jo?

LIKE is a watered-down love.
Like is mediocre.
Like is the wishy-washy emotion of the content.
Athletes don’t do it for the like of a sport.
Artists don’t suffer for the like of art. There’s is no I like NY T-shirt.
And Romeo didn’t just like Juliet.
LOVE. Now that’s a powerful thing. Love changes things.
Upsets things. Conquers things.
Love is the root of everything good that has ever happened and will ever happen.
Love what you do.
Blackberry Ad in some magazine (didn’t remember).
(Not that I don’t love my job, but I really thank God it’s Friday).
